What we'll do...
Your Farm Educator will explore the farm with your group using our 5 senses - we'll meet the horses, ducks, chickens, sheep, goats, taste our way through the market gardens, or maybe sing and dance in the hayloft straw pile.
The day of your visit...
Arrive at the scheduled time (unless you've arranged with us to come early). We will do our best to wait for your bus to arrive and greet you at the gate, but if you arrive stealthily and we miss you, just bring your group down the path and meet by the signpost in the centre of the farm. After your program your group is more than welcome to stay a little while. Let us know how long you'd like to stay and we'll find a homebase for your group somewhere on the farm out of the rain (the Hayloft, by the Fire, on the deck, under the Cob Oven Shelter, in the Orchard, or on the knoll)
Bus Parking: park on Balaclava St. just outside the gate at 6767 Balaclava, or on 51st Avenue just before the stop sign.
Price: The Field Trip Cost is $18 per participant (plus GST), which includes a pumpkin. (If you don't want pumpkins, please inquire about a discount).
The minimum charge is $200.00, and payment is required to hold your spot. Extra children and extra pumpkins can be paid on the day of your trip.
There is no charge for teachers, EAs, parents designated as assistants, and drivers (max 1 adult per 4 school-age students, or 1 adult per pre-school-age student). Additional adults, and siblings over 3, should pay to participate.
